LEGO lovers rushed the gates of LEGOLAND Florida for the chance to purchase the year’s most loved toys. Under the bright lights families snapped photos with huge statues of Albert Einstein and other icons while southern belles stood smiled because they didn’t need them any more.
These are just a few of the reasons you should go to LEGOLAND Florida.
1. Interactive Attractions for Children
Yes, this is an interactive park that is interactive. Ford Driving School offers mini vehicles for kids to drive around on two-lane streets with stop signs and a roundabout. They also provide LEGO construction classes, Mindstorms kits, and the opportunity to program robots using Mindstorms. It’s more than just being entertained. There are many activities that can take you off of your tu quoque regardless of whether your child needs to get more exercise than she/he gets every day, or because a buddy keeps him busy when he’s not working.
Little ones will have a blast playing in DUPLO Village or barn as older kids will enjoy Forestman’s Hideout and Pharaoh’s Revenge. The Land Of Adventure even features an interactive part where you can design your own adventure.
2. Roller Coasters
Coasters are not only for thrill seekers. LEGOLAND Florida offers a variety of roller coasters to keep your heart pounding and have fun. There’s one more than what’s offered at the California sister park (4 as opposed to 3). Although this may disappoint some visitors, it will not hinder them from enjoying the many attractions available at this destination Hattan. This includes Coasteraurus as a wooden dinosaur themed attraction, or Flight School, which is a suspended steel attraction that has something unique because of its airborne adventure.
3. Cypress Gardens
The historic Cypress Gardens is home to the most distinctive and breathtaking natural features. The park was established in 1933. It is well-known for its enormous Banyan Tree which stands among other trees that are majestic.
4. Water Ski Show
The battle for the Brickbeard’s Bounty is an entertaining show that will leave you cheering and gasping. Miss Miranda and her army of imperial soldiers take on Captain Brickerhead’s pirates a series water ski tricks, jumps and more. There will be splashes in the first five rows. Protect your cell phones and cameras from getting wet whenever possible.
5. LEGO Brick Creations
Miniland is the main attraction of every LEGO park. This Florida location is the only location that can bring to life famous structures and buildings across the globe. Innovative features include depictions on Miami Beach as well as Kennedy Space Station among other sites not far such as Daytona International Speedway or Key West that make it worthwhile even if you’re not a fan of playing sports throughout the day.
